Things To Do While Camping In Door County
Come and discover Door County. Experience for yourself why Money Magazine named Door County one of the Top Ten vacation destinations in North America. There are many activities in the Door County area, as well as at Egg Harbor Campground and RV Resort.
Some of the activites we have at the campground are for young and old alike.
Children’s Activities: We have a large playground area, heated swimming pool, game room, TV-reading room. Our playground area has a soccer field. We have coloring books, arts and crafts, children’s books and board games. We also have scavenger hunts, children’s videos and many more fun activities planned throughout the season.
Adult Activities: Volleyball, Horseshoe’s, heated swimming pool, the Orchard Golf course is adjacent to the campground.
Family Activities: Pot Luck dinners, Chili Challenge (Labor Day weekend), heated swimming pool, pancake breakfast and picnic area.

The annual Door County Lighthouse Walk, held the 3rd weekend in May, offers visitors the opportunity to climb to the top of the Cana Island Lighthouse tower, some 80 feet above the water level.
May 27th-30th Memorial Day Weekend- Pool Opens
Steel Bridge Songfest-Sturgeon Bay June 9- June 12th
Fyr Bal (fear ball) festival-Ephriam June 17th-June19th
July 3rd-Fireworks at Egg Harbor’s Harborview Park (1/2 Mile from campground)
July 4th-Fireworks all over Door County- Parade through Egg Harbor begining at 1:30pm
July 16th-17th- Door County Triathalon
August 3rd- 7th- Door County Fair-Sturgeon Bay.
September 2nd-5th Labor Day Weekend-Chili challenge on Sunday at the campground pavilion–Pool Closes for the winter on the 5th.
September 9th-10th- Island Party Weekend- “Relaxed Quiet Hours”. Music-Beer Tent Friday September 9th. The Mango Brothers (Jimmy Buffett tribute band 8:00 - Midnight) will be appearing on September 10th - Saturday- brat fry, corn roast (all proceeds going to the Egg Harbor Fire Department). Friday and Saturday -tiki bar, beer tent. ”Relaxed Quiet Hours”, all other policies apply.
October 7th-9th Egg Harbor Pumpkin Patch Festival (We are only 1/2 Mile away)
October 14th-16th Fall Fest in Sister Bay
We close for the winter on October 16th.
Offsite activities: Beaches nearby, several golf courses nearby, winery tours, art galleries, lighthouses, shops, fish boils, too many restaurants to list. Festivals, fishing tournaments, Fourth of July Celebrations, Pumpkin Patch Weekend and Fall Fest. There are also several other activities going on in Door County throughout the season-You surely won’t want to miss out!!
